February is usually a dreary cold month, although here in the NE where I live, we have not gotten any snow! Temps above average except for a few cold spells. So in those cold dark months you need something fun to do inside. When you invite a few friends over for a game night you need some munchies and a drink of course. Let's talk about the items in this month's box.
White Chocolate Cranberry Dip mix
This is a super versatile dip mix and super easy to make. For a simple cheeseball just mix with some cream cheese and chill. You can also mix it with whipped topping and cream cheese to make a pie filling or as a spread on brownies or cake.
Rainbow Kernel White Cheddar Popcorn Kit
Skip the store bought and go old school. Pour your rainbow kernels in a pan cover and shake over heat. Then all you need to do is drizzle your butter and seasoning mix. This bag contains 1 pound of kernels so you will have plenty of popcorn for another time. Each batch makes about 10 cups and the entire bag makes 65 cups of popcorn!
Margarita Drink Mix
This drink mix is unique! The tequila flavor is infused in the mix so this can be an alcohol free drink if you choose. All you need to decide is if you want it on the rocks or frozen. If you want an alcohol free version you can mix with ginger ale. If you want a lighter alcohol version you can mix with white wine otherwise use tequila and water. Enjoy just by the glass or make a pitcher.
Escape Room in an Envelope
Ok did you know you can do an escape room at home?! Neither did I until we planned out this box. This game features 10 individual puzzles with an interactive online ending. This is perfect for anyone 14+ and can be done in groups of 2-8 people. You will be entering the world of the New York restaurant scene. Help Abigail, an up and coming celebrity chef, find out if she is being swindled by one of her employees. Solve the puzzles Abigail found and help break into the online vault to figure out exactly what is going on.
Doesn't this sound like a great night! I have not played the game yet but am looking forward to solving the mystery soon. We have a very limited supply of extra boxes left this month which doesn't happen very often.
